Minoan female statuette with hands raised to breasts
From Knossos on Crete.
This piece is fantastic for the study of Minoan fashion. She wears a tall conical hat, hair loose about her shoulders. She wears a dress with sleeves, which leaves her breasts bare. Under her breasts is a wide belt and an apron falls over her multi-layered skirt.
